From Resilience to Solidarity: Simone in Bordeaux Donates €10,172 to the Bergonié Institute thanks to Octobre Rose

In 5 years, Simone in Bordeaux has donated €24,166 to the Bergonié Institute thanks to her Pink October collection, a symbol of resilience, solidarity and hope.

On January 14, 2025 , I had the great honor, with Simone in Bordeaux, of presenting a check for €10,172 to the Bergonié Institute. This check represents the sales of our Octobre Rose collection, an initiative that is particularly close to my heart. Five years ago, I created this collection with a simple but powerful idea: to donate 100% of the profits to the Institute that accompanied me during one of the most difficult periods of my life.

The story of Simone à Bordeaux is closely linked to my own. In 2018, while I was facing a double triple negative breast cancer, I felt the need to hold on to a positive and creative project. This is how Simone à Bordeaux was born, a jewelry brand that reflects my desire to surround myself with beauty, colors and positive emotions. This crazy project was my way of regaining control over my life and bringing joy to myself and others.

Each year, the Pink October collection has met with growing success, and I am proud to share the amounts that we have been able to donate:

In 2020 : €1,305, 2021 : €3,202, 2022 : €3,795, 2023 : €5,692, 2024 : €10,172

These numbers reveal much more than amounts: they tell a story of collective commitment , generosity and solidarity . I am incredibly touched by the support of our customers, our partners, and all those who have credited this project with their trust.

The check presentation ceremony was an unforgettable moment. We were surrounded by partners dear to our hearts: Sophie and Valérie from the Pharmacie des Grands Hommes, François-Xavier Mahon, Céline Etchetto, Gérald Carmona, from the Bergonié Institute, Clémence Losa from Crédit Agricole, Thomas Prouveur from Management The emotion was palpable, and I felt immense gratitude to be able to share this moment of joy, conviviality and meaning.

If I share all this with you, it is because I believe in the power of resilience and solidarity. Simone à Bordeaux is much more than a jewelry brand: it is a life project, bringing hope and change. Thank you all for being an essential part of this beautiful adventure.
