Shipping policy
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions of Sale (TCS), “delivery” shall be deemed to have taken place, or the order shall be deemed “delivered,” on the date when the package (i) in the case of a “tracked letter”: the package appears as “delivered” in the La Poste tracking system, or (ii) in the case of delivery requiring the recipient’s signature: at the time of signature.
Subject to the provisions of Article 2 above concerning the availability of Products, and except in cases of force majeure, SIMONE À BORDEAUX will make every effort to deliver the Product(s) to you under the following conditions:
Delivery Address
It is the Customer’s responsibility to carefully provide their delivery address when placing an order. In the event of errors or inaccuracies in the Customer’s contact details, SIMONE À BORDEAUX cannot be held responsible for the impossibility of delivering the order.
Delivery Times
Delivery in Mainland France
In Mainland France, delivery of parcels is carried out, according to the Customer’s choice at the time of order, by La Poste via “tracked letter” or “Chronopost.”
The delivery time is a maximum of fourteen (14) days from receipt of payment by SIMONE À BORDEAUX.
Delivery outside Mainland France
Outside Mainland France, delivery of parcels is carried out within a reasonable time from receipt of payment by SIMONE À BORDEAUX.
Delivery delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances (strikes, road network blockages, supplier delivery delays, etc.) or due to reasons related to the delivery location.
If we are unable to meet the delivery time indicated above, for any reason, we will notify you by email and offer you either to maintain your purchase with a new delivery date, or to cancel your order and be refunded in full the amount you paid.
If the delivery time is not met and is confirmed by the Customer, the Customer must inform SIMONE À BORDEAUX by sending a message via the “Contact” section of the Site or by email to serviceclient@simoneabordeaux.com.
In this case, the Customer will have the choice between (i) arranging a new delivery subject to a new delivery period starting from the date on which the Customer notified SIMONE À BORDEAUX of this choice in writing, or (ii) canceling the order and being refunded in full the amount paid.
Any cancellation of an order under the above conditions will be confirmed in writing and followed by a refund to the Customer of all sums paid, within fourteen (14) days following the date of cancellation of the order.
Failure to comply with delivery times shall not give rise to the payment of any compensation.
Receipt of Products
At the time of delivery, if the package or the Products are damaged or defective, the Customer must refuse delivery and, where applicable in the chosen delivery method, note a precise reservation on the delivery slip (damaged packaging, non-conformity with the order, etc.) and notify SIMONE À BORDEAUX in writing within 24 hours from the date of refusal of delivery by sending a message via the Site’s contact form. SIMONE À BORDEAUX may ask the Customer to provide a photo of the package and/or the allegedly damaged or defective Products.
By accepting the package(s)/Products without having made the above reservations, the Customer is deemed to have accepted the Products as undamaged and free of apparent defects.
By reporting damage or apparent defect of the package and/or Product, the Customer will obtain a return authorization from SIMONE À BORDEAUX, specifying the return address and procedures.
Once the return authorization has been obtained, the Customer must return the Products to SIMONE À BORDEAUX at the address and according to the procedures indicated in the return authorization.
Any Product returned without the agreement of SIMONE À BORDEAUX will be refused and sent back to the sender at their own cost and risk.
To be validly returned and/or exchanged, Products must not have been used and must be returned intact in their original packaging with all possible accessories (including the “Simone à Bordeaux” pouch), user manuals, and other documentation.
If the Customer returns a Product for an apparent non-conformity confirmed by SIMONE À BORDEAUX, the Customer must use the same shipping method as chosen for delivery. In this case, return shipping costs will be covered by SIMONE À BORDEAUX, subject to providing proof of shipping costs. Otherwise, no reimbursement may be claimed by the Customer.
